Small extension
This small extension was a tricky job due to its small size and the arrangement of the drains which were affecting the foundations.
We had to re-route one of the drains and also had to install 2 large RSJ beams into the house wall and onto a 2 meter deep foundation at the other end.
As this is a terraced house all waste had to come through the house.
We used quality hard plastic protective sheets fitted wall to wall in the kitchen and hall to avoid damage to carpets.
Although there was a lot of problems, we still managed to make an exellent job of it.
It made a really nice downstairs toilet and shower room.
No planning permission was required but we had to use building control to see the job was carried out to their specs
As its so small it was hard to get a good picture of it.
