Here you can see concreting work carried out bt BBS Building Services
This area is the entrance to the front door of a bungalow. It constantly floods as the water has no where to go. We decided to put in a channel that runs into the adjoining garden.
With the channels roughly positioned we can start concreting. We obtained the channels from Jewsons but they are available at most good builders merchants.
We concreted the channel in and are now going to correct the falls of the finished floor so the water runs into it.
First we start by applying sbr to ensure a good bond for the concrete. PVA can also be used for this.
Then we concrete the edges and use this as a guide for the center section.
Job done. Just what was needed.
