These patio slabs were made of natural sandstone.
In recent years it has become much cheaper here in the uk, in fact I have paid more for man made concrete slabs.
These slabs have some amazing colours and ripples.
When they get worn over the years they still look good, unlike concrete slabs which show a rough gravel edge when the top surface has worn down.
They always wash up nice with a jet wash and look even more colourful when wet.
A wet look sealer can have this effect too although i guess it would wear with time and traffic.
